About Kneipp Therapy:

Kneipp therapy grew out of the philosophy and practice of Sebastian Kneipp, a priest and somewhat reluctant healthcare provider who lived from 1821-1897 in Bavaria, Germany. His methods of self treatment using simple yet effective cold water and contrast applications as well as readily available natural therapeutics were effective and provided access to care for thousands who were lacking. His methods are the basis for the American Natural Health movement of the 20th and 21st century.
