Mission Statement: The mission of the Community School of Natural Therapeutics is to provide classes to people from all walks of life, in all aspects of the theory and practice of natural therapeutics. Our goal is to re-empower and inspire individuals in the health and wellness of themselves, their families, and their communities. Our hope is that this positively influences the health and wellbeing of our planet.

Currently, most our classes are presented in the North Seattle area. We offer classes in herbalism, hydrotherapy, nutrition, homeopathy, Western life science, and healthy living.

Our flagship classes are in Kneipp Therapy, the foundation for most Western holistic therapies. Every Spring, we offer 1-2 week courses in Bad Worishofen Germany. These courses are open to all practitioners, and may count for continuing education credits, depending on your professional requirements in your state, province or country. Please see individual class pages for more information.

We also offer support to the vitalistic naturopathic community. For a nominal fee we provide group mentoring to young NDs on a monthly basis. We also offer classes on vitalistic naturopathic philosophy and case management.

Our instructors are all accomplished in their fields and hold advanced degrees. Most have taught university level classes, and delight in teaching the public as well!

Please consult our individual class pages for more information!

    • I would love to do a newsletter or regular blog, and am working to create a structured time into my day to get that done. Until that happens, I will be sending out some regular e-mails regarding classes. if you’re interested in having us put you on our e-mail list, please let us know!

  1. Hi there! I am an ND (NUNM class of 2008/attended Bastyr 2002-2005), now living in Sweden, interested in the Level 1 & 2 2019 trainings … if I reserve a private room, can my husband and daughter (4 yrs old) join me in the same room? If so, what would the charge be for their meals? Cheers!

    • Hi Dr. Karin Taylor-Wu, I think you are a FB friend too! Yes we can accomodate your daughter and husband. I will need to check for an exact amount for room and board, as the Sebastianeum has gone through a management change, but I expect it to be around 500-750 euros per week.
